Why We Built This Site
Texas court access is broad, yet Lamar County has no single clerk for every file. The District Clerk maintains records for the 6th and 62nd District Courts. The County Clerk handles County Court and County Court at Law matters, and each Justice or municipal court keeps its own lower-court register. A docket is the running record of filings, parties, settings, and court actions. re:SearchTX adds a statewide electronic search layer, but it does not replace the clerk who can confirm a setting or certify a copy. The site brings these roles, official portals, and request paths into one clear reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Criminal and civil routes: how Lamar County criminal court dockets and civil court dockets differ
- Settings: how to read the court schedule and verify a hearing with the responsible clerk
- Searches: how a docket search works by name or case number through county and state systems
- Copies: how to request court case records or certification from the office holding the file
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not part of any Texas court, clerk, or government agency. Its limits include the following:
- We cannot retrieve an official docket or case file on a visitor’s behalf
- We cannot set, move, or confirm a hearing date
- We cannot amend, seal, or remove a court case
- We cannot certify a docket, order, or other judicial document
- We cannot advise anyone about the effect of a specific case
- We cannot promise that a published phone number, fee, procedure, or setting remains current
Only the clerk or court maintaining a case can issue its official or certified record. For Lamar District Court matters, that source is the District Clerk.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes appearing on some content pages. Each provider controls its results, prices, and service terms. A paid signup reached through such a tool may produce a referral fee that supports this privately run resource. Lamar County Court Docket does not set partner charges or decide what their searches return.
